I am Kengne Kwiate Arnold Clifford a PhD candidate in Plant Science at the University of Buea, Cameroon, where I do research on soil microbial ecology and ecosystem functioning across tropical land-use systems. Trained in botany, ethnobotany, and phytochemistry, I also writes at the intersection of science, economics, and politics with a particular interest in food sovereignty, agricultural systems, and global governance in Africa.
